Tin Whistle A, Legato and Breathing

Try playing all these notes without taking a breath between each one and only taking a breath where the breath mark is located. For these lessons I will be using an "eight note rest" (as pictured below) as your queue for it's time to take a breath.Wherever you see one it means to take a breath. You will notice that there is an 8th note before each spot you need to take a breath and that 8th notes are held 1/2 as long as quarter notes. Listen to the below example before playing so you can hear what I mean.
